Community Participation

Kendriya Vidyalaya Vikaspuri believes that a school grows best when it grows together with the community around it. Our students regularly take part in outreach activities such as cleanliness drives in the neighbourhood and tree plantation campaigns in public spaces, helping them develop a sense of responsibility towards their surroundings. Parents are actively involved as partners in these initiatives, joining students and teachers in making a visible difference in the locality. Our students also carry important messages to the public through nukkad nataks (street plays) on themes such as cyber safety, environmental conservation, and social well-being, spreading awareness in an engaging and accessible way.

The Vidyalaya also opens its doors to the wider community to enrich student learning. Experts from diverse fields, including healthcare, law enforcement, technology, the arts, and various professions, are invited to interact with students, share their experiences, and guide them in making informed choices about their studies and careers. In the spirit of collaboration, KV Vikaspuri shares its resources, facilities, and expertise with neighbouring schools, fostering mutual growth and a culture of learning that extends beyond the school’s boundaries. Through these efforts, we aim to nurture responsible, aware, and compassionate citizens who contribute meaningfully to society.
